Chief Executive Officer / Chief Technology Officer
Tom Fountain is the Chief Technology Officer of Pneuron Corporation. In this role, Fountain provides leadership of marketing, pre-sales and product management with focus on product strategy and positioning in the Enterprise market and working closely with customers to develop innovative solutions to their most pressing and complex business needs.
Fountain joined Pneuron in late 2012 as the company was accelerating its entry into the Enterprise market, and brings over 20 years of experience in large multi-national companies, industries, and roles. Tom combines over 10 years in senior CIO leadership roles with proven expertise at improving business through programs which integrate information technology, organizational development, and process improvement techniques.
Fountain was most recently consulting to start-up and emerging companies, providing strategic product and technology guidance to help them succeed in the Enterprise IT market. Previously, Fountain served as Global CIO at global agribusiness Bunge, Ltd. where he led IT strategy and governance to maximize leverage across Bunge’s global footprint. Earlier in his career, Fountain had senior CIO roles at Honeywell and GE as well as product management, intelligence officer, and engineering positions with Dell, the Central Intelligence Agency, HP, and Martin-Marietta.
Tom attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology and received a bachelor of science degree in Electrical Engineering. He later attended Duke University where he received both an MS degree in Electrical Engineering as well as an MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business.
Chief Operating Officer
Elizabeth Elkins is the Chief Operating Officer of Pneuron Corporation. In this role, Elkins provides oversight and leadership in several key strategic areas including consulting services, product development, delivery and support. She is also responsible for the achievement of the company’s operational effectiveness objectives, overseeing human resources, legal, finance and accounting. Elkins joined Pneuron as a founding member, with over 20 years of experience in the financial services, consulting and software industries. Elizabeth brings a proven international and multi-industry executive leadership background, working with public and private companies growing organically or through mergers and acquisitions.
Elkins was most recently President of the Financial Control Solutions group in Fiserv’s Risk Management division, leading the most profitable and global group with operations and clients in North America, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Australia. Previously, she served as President of QE2 Consulting, six years at CheckFree Corporation and Accurate Software in various executive positions, and three years as Senior Principal at Carreker Corporation with extensive experience in corporate revitalization and turnaround, sales and market strategy, business and product strategy, risk management, and executive consulting. Elizabeth also served nine years at the Federal Reserve Bank, where her financial services foundation was fortified in the areas of electronic payments, securities trading, check processing, and regulatory oversight.
Elizabeth attended the University of Tennessee and American Intercontinental University, holding a bachelor degree in International Business Management with a focus on Management Information Systems. Elizabeth also received her SOX 404 Reporting Certification from the SEC Institute and Executive Development Certification from Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.
Chief Relationship Officer
Raymond Raggi is the Chief Relationship Officer of Pneuron Corporation. In this capacity, Raggi is responsible for sales and business development through the promotion of Pneuron solutions to senior decision makers of major corporations, all bolstered by his extensive network of C-level relationships. Joining Pneuron in 2011, Raggi brings over 30 years of experience in the financial services market & is widely regarded for combining his deep business experience with a collaborative & partnership-based sales approach to successfully acquire & retain key clients.
Raggi most recently served as EVP of Reed Elsevier Technology Services, where he was responsible for creating and implementing the organization’s Relationship Management Model to streamline IT customer support services and increase productivity. Prior Raggi was hired by Salomon Brothers as Head of Business Engineering to help implement and support the successful move of Trading and Research areas to 7 WTC. That was preceded by Drexel Burnham Lambert as a Senior Management Consultant to help consolidate research facilities and initiate a procedure to represent DBL’s proprietary analytics through Bloomberg’s base system. Raggi brings extensive early career experience in designing and marketing financial forecasting products and services, entering Wall Street through Shearson in charge of Decision Support Shared Services for Capital Markets Research. Raggi also served as SVP of Capital Markets Analytics for Lehman Brothers. His expansive breadth of business acumen and relationship management experience allows him to successfully unite premier solution providers with major corporations – expanding revenue and creating significant return on investment for all involved.
Raggi holds multiple MS degrees from Stevens Institute of Technology (Applied Mathematics) and Fairleigh Dickinson University (Computer Science).
Vice President – Sales
Ken Lawrence is the Vice President of Sales for Pneuron Corporation. In this role, Lawrence is responsible for driving all global product and services revenues through direct and partner channels. Ken has had great success generating revenue and building sales teams for startups and established companies that specialize in data intensive analytic applications, as well as real-time transaction processing. Ken spent the early part of his career selling and managing application delivery projects, and has transferred that focus on customer success to his team through his proven sales methodology.
Lawrence has held a variety of sales leadership positions, most recently with Medio, a real-time analytics provider for mobile application personalization (which was acquired by Nokia). Prior to that, he led sales for Memento, a solutions provider in the fraud analytics space (acquired by FIS); transaction processing provider Wincor Nixdorf; startup data management provider Dataupia; and spent over seven years in various sales leadership roles at SAS Institute.
Ken holds a M.S. in Computer Science from Boston University and a B.S. in Computer Science from Clarkson University.
